EEEVISTA - The Windows Vista for Netbooks !
We have developed the first and best version of Windows Vista for your Netbook. Just as our XP version, this one is only ~1/5 of the original size (580mb ISO), and boots in under two passages of the progress bar.
Please read all .txt files before installing !
We strongly advise you to, after installing EeeVista, remove the paging file of your system, and cancel the hibernation option. It will save you ~1GB.
If your computer keeps saying there is no free disk space, simply go to Computer » Tools » Folder Options » View » Uncheck "Hide protected operating system Files".
Then, go to C:/ and delete pagefile.sys and/or hibernate.sys.

Tip #1 :
After you install windows, you will have to install many updates. They will take ~500mb of disk space. When you are sure everything is working, follow these steps to delete the backups:
- Go to C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download
- Delete all the files inside it (and from your recycle bin).
- Restart.

Important !
To have your wireless network working, you need to follow these steps :
- Download the Eee PC Ethernet Driver from the ASUS website and install it. (Or get it HERE)
- Download the Wireless Network driver. (Or get it HERE)
- Go to C.P., system, device manager, and choose "Ethernet Controller". Click on "update driver".
- Browse your computer for the driver software.
- Go to the folder where you extracted the Wireless driver, go to Wireless/ndis5x/ and select net5211.inf.
- Install it and you are ready to go !
